Certification Ceremony

Completing the training was one thing. Walking up to receive a certificate was another. For many of these women, it was the first formal recognition they had ever received for their skills and hard work. That moment mattered, and the pride on their faces said everything.

Field Trips

Seeing is believing. The Queen Bees visited large-scale beekeeping and farming operations to understand what a grown business actually looks like. These trips sparked ideas, raised ambitions, and gave the women a clear picture of where their own journey could take them.

Equipment Showcase

Good training needs the right tools. Through the project, the women received bee boxes, industrial honey extractors, compost bins, and more. These were not just supplies. They were the starting point for real businesses built on solid foundations.

Market Day

The first BeeVeda Market in Bandaragama was the moment everything came together. Sixteen Queen Bees set up their stalls, met their customers face to face, and showed their community exactly what they had been building. It was the beginning of something much bigger.
